Power Monitor kan bruges til at holde styr på hjemmets el-forbrug. Det virker ved at man aflæser målerstanden på sin el-måler og indtaster tallet i programmet. Programmet vil derefter udregne det gennemsnitslige forbrug og give et forventet årligt forbrug.
Programmet registrerer selv tidspunkt for indtastning og udregner derefter antal timer siden tidligere indtastninger. Der vil først blive vist data efter man har to dages forbrug indtastet.
Derudover kan man indtaste sin el-pris og få vist hvor meget det koster. Det er kun den faktiske KwH pris der regnes ud, diverse abonnementer medregnes ikke.
